Car history:
1972 CHEVROLET CORVETTE DRIVETRAIN: Original, numbers matching Big Block 454, 3 speed T400 transmission and Posi rear end. The carburetor has been replaced with a Holley 750. This Vette runs awesome and sounds awesome. It has Hedmann Headers, stainless steel exhaust and Magnaflow mufflers. SUSPENSION ETC: Power steering and power disc brakes. BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on custom wheels. Original spare tire. Gas shocks and rear strut rods were done recently. The rear mono spring has been replaced. INTERIOR: The carpeting has been replaced, the seats are from a 1980 Corvette, the stereo and speakers are aftermarket. All the gauges work except for the clock which needs to be rebuilt or replaced. It has manual windows and door locks and no A/C. EXTERIOR: The paint looks decent from 20 feet. There are some issues, chips, cracks etc that I have included in the pictures. The nose has a clearance issue with the air cleaner so it does not sit flush when closed. I also included those pictures. The rear chrome bumpers are in OK shape. This car is by no means a flawless vehicle but it does look and run great. ISSUES: It has a small engine oil leak as well as a small tranny fluid leak when stored for a long period of time. The bushings in the suspension need to be replaced. The aftermarket power antenna, radio and dash speakers need to be replaced. The factory alarm does not work. The windows have an aftermarket tint on them that is peeling in some areas. The T Tops do leak when you wash the car so the weather stripping needs replacement. They are snug and do not rattle. This car has always been garaged since my father and I have owned it. He bought it in 1982 with the custom nose already done. It was bought at Lussier's Corvette City in New Hampshire. It has been well maintained through the years and never abused. It is a real pleasure to drive. Deposit: Deposit of US $1,000.00 within 48 hours of auction close.
